Security

Buildings at Lake Vista are arrayed along Lake Vista Court, which can be accessed only through the community entrance on Lakewood Ranch Boulevard. The entrance is secured by attractive wrought-iron gates and a crossbar, which goes up when the gates are fully opened. A camera records vehicles using the entrance and permits tracking down the offender if a gate is damaged.

There are three lanes at the entrance, one for exiting, one for residents to enter and one for guests. Guests may look up an owner in the electronic directory at the guest entrance and punch in the code for that owner. The system places a call to the owner, who may signal the gate to open.

Each building at Lake Vista is secured by locked doors, which residents enter with a fob.  An electronic directory at a building entrance permits a guest to look up the owner and punch in the code, which prompts the system to call the owner to allow access.

The Clubhouse and pool area are accessed by residents with an electronic fob and a restricted key. A visitor may arrange for entrance in advance by contacting the On-site Manager.
